About Us

Logan City Theatre Company was formed in 1978 by a small but enthusiastic band of local Logan City residence, Starting with the name ‘Community players’ we changed to Logan City Theatre Company to match the formation of Logan City.

1988 came at last and we moved into our new and current home.

The Kingston Butter Factory – Butterbox Theatre.

Logan City Theatre Company is proud to be a part of the Logan community and over the years has donated time & talents to many a community organization.

Our aim is to provide quality entertainment that is accessible in every way
to all people of Logan city.

At this time we perform 7 plays per year ( 6 plays and 1 special ).
Rehearsals are twice a week ( Mondays and Wednesdays ) between 7 and 10 pm.
Membership costs $ 20.00 per year.

For those of you who are looking to learn or sharpen your skills we also have “workshop” Tuesday nights.
Auditions are usually in November each year.
Castings for the coming plays are usually done by that Christmas.
