Dream Jobs - Enter a Queen - In By Half
"April 1997"
Logan City Theatre Company presented its annual collection of three one act plays
for one weekend only in the Kingston Butter Factory's Butterbox Theatre.
The three short plays, were suitable for the whole family and had been carefully
selected to offer something for everyone.
First up was "Dream Jobs" Written by Graham Jones and Directed by Judith Sherry.
Five teenage girls wait for job interviews, only to have their dreams shatered with the realisation their
abilities fall well short of their lofty aspirations.

Judith's Husband Peter Sherry then directed "Enter a Queen" by Michael Dines,
a mysterious story about the goings on in a theatre built on the ruins of an old castle,
where a play was in rehearsal.

The third and final play, "In By Half" had a young woman taking acting lessons from an eccentric
and hypochondriac diva, whose estranged daughter suddenly arrived to make peace.
Written by Jimmy Chinn, it was directed by Penny Carr.
