"The Cherry Sisters" by Michael Green.
With an ancient butler called Piles and three sisters named Basha, Gnasha and Veruka. Logan City Theatre Company's production of Cherry Sisters was anything but serious. The Cherry sisters was an extremely compacted adaptation of possibly the Russian playwrite Checkov's "The Three Sisters" and "The Cherry Orchard". However, any resemblance was only intentional on the part of Michael Green, the writer responsible. Green had the actors giving totally sincere performances while the butler valiantly attempted to stem the flow of the leaking urn. What began as drama evolved ( Or should it be said declined ) into a comic situation for everybody but the players. They carried on fully beleiving the audience didn't detect any problems. Along with Sinead McCarthy, Kylee Peace and Angela Howlett were newcommers Michael, Leanne, Jeanie Sherlock and Nicole McMurry.
