After Charles Condamine's ( Mark Smith ) wife dies, he weds Ruth ( Eva Peace ) This is a second marriage for both of them. In his search for material for his new book "The Unseen" Charles employes the talents of Madam Arcanti ( Judith Sherry ) The village medium for back ground information on the spirit world. However when the condamines invite Madam Arcanti to dinner she holds a seyonce where Charles' former wife Alvira accidently returns to haunt him.
