Hotel Sorrento is a powerful new Australian play that begins as a comedy about national identity and develops into a very modern family drama of great poignancy. Hilary lives in seaside Sorrento with her father and 16 year old son. Hilary's sisters have returned from living overseas and so we see the three sisters together after 10 years apart. Add to this an English husband and weekend visitors and you have the scene set for a wonderful theatrical experience.
