Peter Sherry stars as Alf. a former digger who is confronted by the changing
ideals of his son Hughie ( Shane Griffin ). Father and son, along with Alf's war buddy Wacka ( Paul Wincen ) have observed
the traditional dawn service and marched together for many years, but now Hughie and his friend Jan ( Emily John )
realise they have developed a very different view of the national remembrance day. Penny Carr stars as Alf's wife.
