Logan City Theatre Company launched its 1997 season with
"comedy of errors", Pardon Me Prime Minister. Directed by Peter Sherry.
Andrew Nathan stared as the Prime Minister who found himself in all sorts of trouble
on the eve of the parlimentary budget: it was a national blood doner week, he had forgotten his wifes
birthday and his chancellor, ( Wayne Mulley) was threatening to resign.
On top of all this, while his wife, (Penny Carr) was trying to have all and sundry donate blood,
an old flame arrived with her daughter ( Mary Bickerdike and Lisa Wilcox resectively ) and a deep, dark secret was let loose.
Journalist ( Joanne Willett ) uncovered a libellous story. However the private secretary ( Warren McLennan ) kept
his head while saving the Prime Minister from the lovelorn Miss Forbisher ( Julie Walker )
