The story starts off calmly enough with Howard and Penny asleep in bed. Then a burglar ruins this contented scene when he climbs through the window and proceeds to steal various items, including Howard's suit. On awakening and realising what has happened, Howard promptly announces his intentions to go back home to his wife. However, how is he to make it home minus his trousers, since the theif left him with only his vest and underpants. Before you can utter the words "jockey shorts", Howard finds himself being chased around by a Danish exchange student, a mysterious neighbour and a police constable who doubles as a flasher. In strides a punk with the rainbow hair, the neighbour's mistress, a police cheif, a singing gorilla and other odd characters.
